What we stand for

How it started
In 2012, Jeroen, the owner and founder of Flyparks (now ParkMundo), began noticing serious issues in the airport parking industry. Reports surfaced of cars being damaged, parked in nearby residential areas instead of secure lots, or returned with hundreds of unexpected kilometres added. These stories raised an important question: why wasn’t there a trustworthy way to book airport parking?
Determined to find answers, he carried out a detailed investigation into airport parking in the Netherlands. His findings were clear: at parking lots near Schiphol Airport and beyond, consumers were often misled by offers as low as €1.80 per day. This inspired his mission: to make airport parking both affordable and reliable.
In 2013, that mission came to life with the launch of the company's first parking comparison and booking platform for airport parking in the Netherlands, a website where travellers could easily compare verified parking providers based on transparent pricing and quality. After the success of the Dutch platform, the company expanded internationally and now operates worldwide.
In October 2025, Flyparks announced a full rebrand under the name ParkMundo, introducing a redesigned website and booking experience to better serve customers and parking partners across the Australia.
Today, ParkMundo proudly operates at major airports throughout Australia, continuing its commitment to transparency, reliability, and convenience.
