Located right across from the Ibis Airport hotel, the Mackay Covered Car Park is a covered lot located right across from the Mackay Airport arrival and departure hall. There is a public pick-up and drop-off zone located right outside the terminal building, only available for passengers who are already waiting at the curbside and thus ready to be picked up.
Similarly, if you are a passenger who is ready to jump out of the car and be at the terminal in seconds, you can utilize this pick-up and drop-off zone. No waiting or parking is permitted here, and vehicles may not be left unattended.
Unfortunately, there is no valet parking at Mackay Airport at present.
Short-term parking at Mackay Airport is limited, although not impossible to come by. If you are looking merely for a drop-off / pick- up location, there is an appropriate bay to do so, right outside the terminal building.
