FAQ about Terminal Parking at Avalon Airport
1. How much does it cost to park at Avalon Airport’s Terminal Car Park, and is it cheaper if I pre-book?
Rates depend on your stay. Parking at the Terminal Car Park is free for up to 60 minutes.
Short-term parking is then charged by the hour ($19-$27 for 3 hours).
Daily and weekly rates apply for longer trips ($102-$134 per week).
Pre-booking online will always give you a cheaper price compared to paying on arrival. For example, when you pre-book terminal parking online, you will pay $108 for a week of parking, compared to $134 for a week of parking.
2. How close is the Terminal Car Park to the terminal, and is it suitable if I have luggage or children with me?
The Terminal Car Park is located directly in front of the terminal building (a 1-2 minute walk).
It’s the ideal car park for those travelling with children or multiple pieces of luggage due to its proximity to the terminal.
3. What security measures are in place at the Terminal Car Park?
The car park offers CCTV, entry and exit barriers, and perimeter fencing.
4. Is the Terminal Car Park open 24/7, and what happens if my flight is delayed?
Yes, the Terminal Car Park is accessible 24/7.
If your flight is delayed and you return later than expected, you’ll have a one-hour grace period, and then you will need to pay for the extra time after that when you exit.
5. Are there special spaces for accessible parking, motorbikes, or electric vehicles?
Avalon Airport has not clarified whether accessible parking bays are available, but if you are in doubt, park in the Terminal Car Park, closest to the entrance and exit.
There are no known EV chargers, nor are there motorbike parking discounts or bays.
