For ultimate convenience and safety, Canberra Airport features two multi-level indoor car parks, known as CBR Blue & CBR Green, conveniently located with direct access to both the arrivals and departures levels.

Each Canberra Airport car park offers 1,000 parking spaces.

The car park guidance system displays the exact number of spaces on each level, making it easy to find an available spot.

Additionally, ceiling-installed LED red/green lights help you quickly locate open parking bays. Please note that the vehicle height restriction is 2.3 metres.

How Does Indoor Parking at Canberra Airport Work?

Upon Arrival

Upon entering the car parks, please take a ticket or tap your credit card.

Payment can be made using cash or credit card at the pay stations, or by credit card only at the exit gates.

Upon Return

The car parks close 30 minutes after the last flight arrival and re-open each morning at 4:00 am.

Directions to the Indoor Car Parks

To reach the indoor car parks at Canberra Airport from Canberra CBD, follow these directions:

Head north from Canberra CBD on Northbourne Avenue (National Route 23)
Continue straight to merge onto the Federal Highway (National Route 23) towards the airport
Follow the signs for Canberra Airport and take the exit onto Pialligo Avenue
Follow Pialligo Avenue until you reach the airport entrance
Turn left onto Airport Drive, which will lead you directly to the airport's car park entrances
Look for signs directing you to the indoor car parks, marked in BLUE and GREEN, which are located near the terminal building.

To Book

To book the Indoor Parks, take a ticket or scan your credit card upon entry. You can alternatively book your spot online.

To Cancel

Travellers can modify & cancel their booking up to 24 hours before arrival. Cancellations made after 24 hours will incur a fee.

To update or cancel your booking, log into your account at prebook.canberraairport.com.au.

Navigate to "My Reservations" and select the booking you want to modify.

Drive-Up Rates for Indoor Parking at Canberra Airport

Drive-up rates at the Indoor Car Park start at $3.00 for 0 - 20 minutes, $8.00 for 1 - 1.5 hours, $23.50 for 4 - 5 hours, and $39.00 for 7 - 24 hours.

Rates then increase to $110.00 for 3 days, $170.00 for 5 days, $215.00 for 8 days, $245.00 for 10 days.

Each additional day will be $9.00 thereafter.
