How Does the Long Stay Plus Parking at Darwin Airport Work?
The Long-Stay Plus Car Park is only a 3-minute walk from the terminal and therefore provides a quick parking experience.
Upon Arrival
When you book your stay online, you'll receive an email confirmation that includes a QR code.
At arrival, the recognition system will scan your license plate and automatically lift the boom gate.
If the gate doesn’t open, you can manually scan the QR code from your confirmation email. Once inside, feel free to park in any open space.
If you need help, press the 'HELP' button at the entry gate.
Upon Return
If the boom gate doesn’t lift at the exit after your vehicle’s license plate is recognized, please scan the QR code from your confirmation email.
Should you have exceeded your booking time, you will be prompted to pay any additional fees using a credit card at the gate.
For your convenience, payments can also be made with cash or credit card at pay stations located on the ground floor of the Terminal, under the locker shelter in the Short Stay Car Park, or at the Long Stay Saver Car Park.
Alternatively, you can use a credit card at the exit stations. Please note that cash payments are not accepted at the car park exits.

Directions to the Long Stay Plus Car Park
To get to the Long Stay Plus Car Park from Darwin CBD, follow the directions below:
- From Knuckey Street, head west from Darwin CBD towards the Stuart Highway (National Route 1)
- Turn right onto the Stuart Highway, heading south
- Follow the Stuart Highway for approximately 8 kilometres (about 5 miles)
- Take the exit towards McArthur Drive (signposted for Darwin Airport)
- Follow McArthur Drive for about 3 kilometres (about 1.9 miles)
- Look for the turnoff to Fenton Court and turn right
- Continue straight, and follow the signs directing you to the Long Stay Plus Car Park.
- The car park will be located to the left as you approach, close to the terminal entrance.
