The Long-Stay Plus Car Park is only a 3-minute walk from the terminal and therefore provides a quick parking experience.
When you book your stay online, you'll receive an email confirmation that includes a QR code. At arrival, the recognition system will scan your license plate and automatically lift the boom gate. If the gate doesn’t open, you can manually scan the QR code from your confirmation email. Once inside, feel free to park in any open space.

If the boom gate doesn’t lift at the exit after your vehicle’s license plate is recognized, please scan the QR code from your confirmation email. Should you have exceeded your booking time, you will be prompted to pay any additional fees using a credit card at the gate.
For your convenience, payments can also be made with cash or credit card at pay stations located on the ground floor of the Terminal, under the locker shelter in the Short Stay Car Park, or at the Long Stay Saver Car Park. Alternatively, you can use a credit card at the exit stations. Please note that cash payments are not accepted at the car park exits.

Since 2022, Darwin Airport has made substantial improvements to the security of the Long Stay Plus Car and adjacent car parks. The airport now claims that security features include 24/7 CCTV surveillance, monitored entry and exit points, frequent on-site security patrols, and well-kept paved parking areas.

Drive-up rates for the Long Stay Plus Car Park start at $41.00 for 24 hours, $95.00 for 3 days, $121.00 for 5 days, $191.00 for a week, and $337.00 for 2 weeks. Any additional days beyond these periods will be charged at a daily rate of $22.00. For the best value, travellers are advised to book online in advance, as pre-booked rates are typically lower than drive-up prices.
