How Does the Saver Car Park Work?

Arriving and departing from the Saver Car Park at Hobart Airport is simple, especially given its new license plate technology that will recognise your car upon arrival.

Upon Arrival

On your day of departure, arrive to the Saver Car Park 10 - 15 minutes before you need to check in for your flight.

If you made an online booking, drive up to the entry-gate and scan the credit card used to make your online booking - the car park will automatically open.

If you didn't pre-book the Hobart Airport Saver Car Park online, press the button at the entrance and take a ticket.

Upon Return

Upon return to the car park, retrieve your vehicle and drive to the exit gate. Scan the same card used to enter, to exit.

If you didn't book your spot online, you can pay upon exit with a credit card, or at the payment system with cash. Should you need any help, press the assistance button at the gate.

Head east on Davey Street (A6) towards Molle Street
Follow A6, and take the ramp on the right to Tasman Highway (A3) towards Sorell
Merge onto Tasman Highway (A3) and continue to follow A3 for approximately 15 kilometres
Take the exit towards Hobart Airport
At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Holyman Avenue
Turn right into the Hobart Airport Saver Car Park entrance, which will be clearly marked
