How Does Short-Term Parking at Darwin Airport Work?
Upon Arrival
If you booked your stay online, you will receive an email confirmation with a QR code.
Upon arrival at the car park, the recognition system will read your registration plate upon entry to the car park, and the boom gate will automatically raise.
If the entry gate does not rise, please scan the QR Code on your booking confirmation.
Upon entry, park in any available bay.
Should you experience any issues, press the 'HELP' button at the entry gate.
Upon Return
If the boom gate does not raise at the exit after recognizing your vehicle's license plate, please scan the QR code provided in your confirmation.
If you have overstayed your booking, you will be prompted to pay the additional amount required using a credit card at the gate.
Keep in mind that you can make payments with cash or credit card at any of the pay stations located on the ground floor of the Terminal, under the locker shelter in the Short Stay Car Park, or at the Long Stay Saver Car Park.
Alternatively, you can use a credit card to pay at any of the exit stations.
Please note that cash payments are not accepted at the car park exits.

Directions to the Short Term Car Park at Darwin Airport
To get to the short-term parking facility at Darwin Airport from Darwin CBD, follow the directions below:
- Start in Darwin CBD and head north on Mitchell Street
- Continue onto Daly Street and cross the Daly Street Bridge
- Merge onto Tiger Brennan Drive (State Route 6) and continue to follow this route
- Take the exit toward McMillans Road (State Route 23)
- Continue on McMillans Road for approximately 7 kilometres
- Follow the signs for Darwin Airport
- At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Henry Wrigley Drive
- Follow Henry Wrigley Drive until you see the signs for Short-Term Parking
- Turn into the Short-Term Parking area and park your vehicle
