How Does Value Parking at Melbourne Airport Work?
Upon Arrival
If you booked your spot online, arrive at the Value Car Park on your day of departure and scan the QR code at the base of the entry barrier presented in your confirmation email.
If you plan to pay upon arrival, you must scan your credit card to gain access at the entry gate.
Travellers who pay with a credit card upon arrival must use the same credit card upon exit. If you don't, you will be charged twice and likely not entitled to a refund or credit on those charges - so, use the same card!
Upon Return
Drive to the exit gate and scan the same QR code you used upon entry to exit. If you're within the reserved time frames, the gate will lift.
If you're late, there is a 2-hour grace period where you will not be charged if you were parked longer than 4 hours.
Travellers who paid with a credit card upon arrival must scan the same credit card upon exit. If you have any trouble, press and hold the HELP button for 3 seconds to speak with a customer service agent.
Need extra time?
Travellers can extend their booking online anytime before their scheduled exit. Just click "Manage booking," on the Melbourne Airport website, provide your details, and update your exit time.
The system will calculate any extra fees, and you'll get a new QR code for a smooth departure.
If you don't want to deal with the hassle of the online booking portal and will leave the car park later than planned, scan your QR code at the gate to see any additional fees.
You can pay conveniently using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or a credit card.

Where is the Value Car Park at Melbourne Airport?
- The value car park at Melbourne Airport is off Airport Drive.
- If you are driving towards the terminals, you will need to veer right at the intersection on Airport Drive and turn into the car park on your right.
If Airport Drive has merged onto Grants Road, you have gone too far and will need to circle back. - 🚸The Value Car Park will have a reddish-orange sign displayed where the entry is.
There is a designated bus stop to hop on and off the shuttle bus at the Value Car Park.
Simply walk to the orange facility that displays a letter on the side wall. The shuttle bus is orange and will display on the front which car park it's transferring passengers to and from.
Pro Tip: Take a photo of where your car is parked in the Value Car Park. Travellers have reported having a difficult time finding where they parked upon return.
