How Does P1 Parking at Sydney Airport Work?

Upon Arrival

If you've made an online reservation, scan the QR code from your booking confirmation email at the entry gate.

If you arrive without a reservation, simply take a ticket at the gate.

Should you require any assistance, press the 'HELP' button on the entry barrier to speak with an attendant.

Upon Return

Upon retrieving your vehicle, follow the exit signs and scan your QR code or insert your ticket at the gate to exit the car park.

If you overstayed your designated parking times, you can pay any additional fees at the exit gate with a credit or debit card. The over-stay rates you will incur will be drive-up rates.

✈️TIP: A lost ticket will incur an additional fee. If you lose your ticket, press the 'HELP' button at the exit boom gate to speak with an attendant.

To Book

Bookings can be made online and in person. To save on costs, we recommend booking your spot online. You can do so at least 2 hours before your designated arrival time. 4

Click on the 'Book Now' button above, insert your travel dates & times, and within minutes you will be sent your booking confirmation via email with a QR code attached. You will then use this to enter and exit the car park.

✈️NOTE: All online payments made via credit card or PayPal will be subject to a payment fee. The amount of this fee depends on the payment method used.

Should you wish to pay upon arrival at the car park, take a ticket at the entry gate. You can pay upon exit.

To Cancel

Travellers can cancel their parking reservation no later than 2 hours before the booking is set to begin.

To do so, click on the 'Book Now' button above, go to the top of the page and click on the 'Manage / Cancel' tab. Enter your email and booking reference number. Proceed with cancelling your booking.

A cancellation confirmation email will be sent to you shortly after. The payment may take 2 - 5 business days to be returned to your account.

The P1 Prime Park is one of the priciest parking options for domestic travellers at Sydney Airport.

Rates begin at $11.80 for up to 30 minutes, rising to $44.90 for 1 to 2 hours, and $102.00 for 3 to 24 hours.

For longer stays, travellers can expect the following costs: $306.00 for 3 days, $510.00 for 5 days, and $816.00 for 8 days (1 week).

Each additional day beyond that will cost $102.00, quite a steep price!
