The P9 Car Park at Sydney Airport is designed for pick-ups and drop-offs.
This open-air car park features license plate recognition technology, entry and exit barriers, and vehicle height fencing for added security.
Reviews of P9 Parking at Sydney Airport
User reviews for Sydney Airport's P9 Car Park are mixed. Many find it convenient due to its close location to Terminal 1 (International Terminal), making it ideal for quick pick-ups and drop-offs.
Users also appreciate the open-air design and license plate recognition technology, which streamlines entry and exit.
However, there are common complaints about the 15-minute free parking limit, with some feeling it’s insufficient, especially for elderly passengers or those with multiple pieces of luggage.
Additionally, multiple users report issues with unexpected charges after re-entering the lot within the 15-minute window, noting that re-entry often triggers additional fees even when within the free period.
