P1 & P2 Car Parks at Sydney Airport
Information and Rates

The P1 Car Park and the P2 Car Park are multi-storey parking facilities located at Sydney Airport. Owned and managed by the Sydney Airport Corporation, the P1 parking and P2 parking facilities serve Domestic Terminals 2 and 3. Both the P1 and the P2 Car Parks are within five minutes walking distance of the main terminal buildings, with pedestrian entrances and exits that are connected directly to the airport. Open 24/7, P1 and P2 provide secure, weather protected, short and long term parking, with barrier entry and monitored CCTV.

P1/P2 operate as mid-range car parks, with drive-in rates starting from $9.70 for up to 30 minutes, to $62.00 for 24 hours. Online rates are fractionally less expensive, starting at $15.90 for an hour, and $59.00 for 24 hours. There is a maroon coloured Guaranteed Space parking area available in P1, at additional cost, to customers who have booked Guaranteed Space parking online.

About the Domestic P1 & P2 Car Parks

The P1 and P2 Car Parks are located between Terminals 2 and 3, allowing for easy access to Arrivals and Departures. There are accessible spaces available for disabled travellers near the entrance, as well as Guaranteed Space Zone parking, which must be reserved in advance on Sydney Airport’s official website.

The P1 Car Park is split across 4 levels, and P2 has 8 levels. With the exception of the roof, the two car parks are undercover. P1 and P2 can accommodate a variety of different vehicle types, from sedans and utes, luxury sports cars and station wagons, to 4WDs. There are height restrictions in place, with a maximum vehicle size of 2.1 metres in both of the car parks. The main benefits of parking at P1 or P2 include:

  • Ease of access - the car parks are open 24/7, 365 days a year
  • Advanced security features, within a purpose built, multi-storey facility
  • Ideal location - designed for use by domestic travellers
  • Accessible parking spaces nearest to Arrivals/Departures at Terminals 2 & 3
  • Guaranteed Space Zone is available to customers who have pre-booked online

Sydney Airport P1/P2 Car Park Rates

P1 and P2 are mid-range car parks, meaning that their pricing structure sits somewhere in between of budget shuttle parking rates and those of premium valet services. When using P1/P2, travellers pay for the convenience of being able to park their vehicle within walking distance of Terminals 2 and 3, as well as the safety and security of undercover parking. P1/P2 are fractionally more expensive than the P3 Car Park, especially for long stays of one or two weeks, and quite a lot pricier than Blu Emu. You can read about how the prices of these airport car parks compare in our Sydney Airport parking rates article.

Drive-up rates at P1/P2 start at $9.70 for 0-30 minutes, $19.40 for 30-60 minutes, $27.50 for 1-2 hours, $37.00 for 2-3 hours, and $62.00 for stays of between 3-24 hours. Each additional 24 hour period (or part thereof) is charged at $62.00. Booking online and in advance brings the rates down for long-term stays. You can expect to pay $150.00 for five days at P1/P2, which is less than half of the drive-in price. A week, when booked online would cost $212.00, and fortnight $517.00.

Booking your parking online often works out about 40% cheaper than paying airport drive-in rates, and it also means you’re guaranteed a parking spot, even during busy periods.
