You should be aware that, generally, it will take at least an hour to an hour and a half for passengers to clear immigration at Melbourne Airport.

To make the process hassle-free, make sure passengers have their custom(s) card filled out and ready. Additionally, if passengers are Smart Gate travellers they can utilise the SmartGate arrivals entrance by placing their passport into the scanning device and looking into the camera to have a face-passport match. Upon digital approval, the gate will open. Should you require assistance, an attendant is nearby to help.

Find Parking at Melbourne Airport

The airport recommends that you be present at least 2 hours before your scheduled flight time. Should your flight be delayed, we recommend that you still abide by this timeframe in case your flight changes terminals, or has additional modifications. Allow yourself time to park at Melbourne Airport. We recommend arriving at the car park 30 - 45 minutes before you need to be at the airport terminals, especially for those parking at an off-site car park.
