Brisbane’s Airtrain is a train and transfer service providing travelers with direct connections between Brisbane Airport and various locations both within and outside the city. Costs of tickets are approximately $15.00 - $18.00 but may differ depending on where you pay for your ticket. The Airtrain is open at various times depending on your location.

Airport → Gold Coast: 5:04 a.m. - 10:04 p.m.
Gold Coast → Airport: 4:10 a.m. - 8:10 p.m.
Central → Airport: 4:31 a.m. - 9: 31 p.m.
Weekend Airtrain Opening Hours:
Airport → Gold Coast: 6:04 a.m. - 10:04 p.m.
Gold Coast → Airport: 5:40 a.m. - 8:10 p.m.
Central → Airport: 5:40 a.m. - 9:31 p.m.
Travellers can utilise the Airtrain to get from Brisbane Airport to the CBD within 20 minutes. The Brisbane Airtrain cost for one ticket is $15.00. For this amount, you can reach the following stops:

To purchase your ticket, you may do so online (and be eligible to receive a discount or free return ticket), or you may do so on arrival at the Airtrain station where you can purchase a paper ticket, travel with your go card, or pay with a contactless payment method such as Visa, Mastercard or American Express.
Airtrain runs every 15 minutes from Brisbane Airport to the Gold Coast during peak travel hours and every 30 minutes during off-peak hours. Please be advised that it takes 45 minutes to travel between Brisbane Airport to Gold Coast.

The Airtrain is one of the most affordable transportation options to take travellers into the city and beyond. It is considerably cheaper than a taxi or Uber, and offers special promotions.
Airtrain at Brisbane Airport is located outside both the domestic & international terminals. Follow the signs that read “train” upon collecting your belongings and head towards the ‘Arrivals’ area.
If you are coming from the Brisbane domestic terminal, head to the elevated skywalk and follow the designated signage. If you are coming from the international terminal, head to level 3, or, if you need to purchase tickets, head to level 2 to purchase Airtrain tickets at the information counter, then head to level 3.
