1. Novotel Brisbane Airport

The Novotel Brisbane takes first place on our list of Top 3 Brisbane Airport hotels - with its convenient location close to the terminals, and affordable mid-range prices. The four star and a half star hotel is close to the DFO shopping centre and dining precinct at Brisbane Skygate, making it an ideal stopover on your journey to BNE. The hotel’s 157 non-smoking rooms are clean and comfortable, generally above-average in size, making them ideal for both business and leisure travellers. The rooms are designed for two adults, but can also accommodate a family of four in a twin bed configuration.

Travellers can select from the Standard Room, Premier Room, and Executive Suite room types, which all include an abundance of natural light, relaxation spaces and functional workspaces, large walk-in showers, LCD TVs, hi-speed internet, and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. In addition, the Novotel Brisbane has an on-site restaurant and bar, as well as a rooftop swimming pool and fitness centre. Guests can access the airport through the hotel’s Brisbane Airport shuttle service, or utilise the on-site parking at additional costs. The shuttle service operates seven days a week from 04.00 to 10.00, and then again from 16.00 to 22.00, at a cost of $6.00 per person.

Update! The Novotel Brisbane Airport has temporarily closed, due to the reduction in travel related to COVID-19.

2. ibis Brisbane Airport

A three-star hotel close to Brisbane Domestic and Brisbane International Airport, the ibis Brisbane Airport is a great option for budget travellers. Within easy walking distance of the Domestic Terminal, and a quick drive to the International Terminal, the ibis offers its guests the benefits of a 24-hour reception, shuttle service (paid), Wi-Fi/internet access, air conditioning, and on-site parking (paid). Each of the hotel’s guest rooms features a private bathroom, comfortable bedding, LCD TV, ironing board, mini fridge, and natural lighting. Travellers can book either a Standard Room with 1 queen sized bed, or a Standard Twin Room with 1 double and 1 single bed, and take advantage of the hotel’s bistro style restaurant and bar. It’s important to note that there are two ibis hotels at Brisbane Airport - the ibis Brisbane Airport and the ibis Budget Brisbane Airport. The ibis Budget Brisbane Airport is an economy hotel, with fewer features, and is located further out from the Terminals. Make sure you don’t mix the two properties up when booking, as you’re likely to be left disappointed.
