Perth Airport is split into two distinct areas, with Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 approximately 10km away from Terminals 3 and 4. Parking at T1/T2 is split into short term options by each terminal building, and two long term lots some distance away. At T3/T4 there are again two short term lots, one by each terminal, and three long term options. All of the long term facilities, Car Park B, Car Park C, Car Park D, Car Park H & Car Park J, are connected to the terminals via shuttle buses.
There is also a Regional Car Park further afield, a Fast Track Car Park, and a valet system which allows you to park right at the terminal, enabling trained staff to take your car to a designated spot while you’re away.
An ideal choice for longer stays, the Long Term B, C, and D Car Parks are protected by CCTV, security patrols, and license plate recognition technology. ACROD bays are available in all three parking facilities. Simply park your car and take the complimentary bus to your terminal, which runs every ten minutes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can either pay drive-in rates for your stay, or pre-book your parking online on Perth Airport’s official website.
At Terminals T1 and T2 Perth Airport, there are two car parks available for parking, Car Park H and Car Park J. They are just adjacent of eachother and both offer free shuttle buses that will take you to the terminal 24 hours, 7 days a week. To discover more about either of the car parks, keep on reading.
You do not need to book long term parking in advance, however it is recommended that you do so for several reasons. The first being that bookings made at least one week in advance of travel are generally cheaper.
The second, is that many long term airport car parks fill up during holiday periods, so it is well worth reserving a place. And thirdly, knowing that you have a guaranteed spot simply takes some of the stress out of travel. There’s nothing worse than circling around a car park for what seems like hours, when your flight is due to take off very soon. For more information, check out our guide to Perth Airport.
The rates charged at Perth Airport are dependent on the length of your stay and proximity of your chosen car park to the terminal. The closer you park to the airport building, the more you can expect to pay.
If you’re willing to travel a bit farther from your car to the terminal, you can often save money by parking at an off-airport lot. Run by private companies, many of these facilities offer perks like valet parking, car washes, and even oil changes (extra fees may apply). Even when their rates are fractionally higher than those at Perth Airport, one major advantage of the off-site lots is that you can reserve your parking space in advance — a good idea during peak travel times.
The drive-in and online booking rates for Perth Airport’s five long term car parks are identical, so it makes sense to use the parking facility closest to your terminal. Rates start at $29.80 for 24 hours, and extend to $88.40 for three days, and $149.00 for one week.
These car parks are ‘park & ride’ facilities, meaning that shuttle buses transfer passengers from the lots to the terminals. The buses are free of charge and run every ten minutes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
