How Does Short Term Parking at Perth Work?

You do not have to book in advance to park at the Short-Term Car Park at Terminal 1, or any other terminal for that matter. You can find a car space on the day of your departure at Perth Airport. Stays for short term parking at Perth Airport are initially charged in short 5, 10, and 15-minute blocks, and then by the hour, after the first 60 minutes. After eight hours, travellers are charged daily rates. For stays over eight hours, you can book your parking online, however, you may wish to consider long term parking at this point.

If you have not made an online reservation and wish to drive up on the day of your flight, simply take a ticket at the entrance. On your return, you will need to enter your ticket into the machine at the pay station, pay for your stay, and then exit the car park.

If you have made an online booking, there are cameras in the car park that will scan your number plate and match it to your online booking. Your parking ticket will be automatically issued at the barrier. You will need to keep hold of the ticket to exit the car park upon your return. If the cameras do not recognise your license plate number, a ticket won’t be issued. In this case, you can scan the QR code on your booking confirmation email. Those that book online should keep in mind that parking charges are calculated on a 24-hour basis from the time your booking begins.
