The Short-Term Car Park at Terminal 1, Perth Airport, is an open air parking facility within close walking distance of T1 International & Domestic. Priced for short stays of a few minutes to a few hours, the car park is primarily used by those dropping off or collecting passengers from Terminal 1. The car park has 1,530 bays and is open air, meaning that vehicles are not protected from the elements. The facility is guarded by 24/7 monitored CCTV and manned security patrols. There are disabled spaces available at the front of the car park, for drivers with a valid ACROD parking permit. Vehicles that can be parked in Short-Term T1 include sedans, minivans, station wagons, Utes, sports vehicles, and luxury cars. Vehicles must fit within a standard size parking bay.
The Short-Term Car Park at Terminal 2, Perth Airport, is an open air, short stay car park next to Terminal 2. Designed for stays of a few minutes to a couple of hours, the parking facility is primarily used by drivers that are dropping-off or picking-up passengers from T2. There are 220 bays at Short-Term T2, which include disabled spaces near the front of the car park. Most vehicle types can be parked at the Short-Term Car Park, provided that they fit within a standard sized space, including sedans, 4WDs, minivans, station wagons, Utes, sports vehicles, and luxury cars.
If you’re simply looking to pick-up or drop-off passengers at T2, you may want to consider the free Express Pick-up and Drop-off Area. Drivers using this area are allowed five minutes to complete their pick-up or drop-off, near the front of Terminal 2. If you stay longer than this, you will be charged $6.00 for 5-10 minutes, to a maximum of $20.00 for up to 20 minutes.
Perth Airport has 1,370 short term car parking spaces located at Terminals 3 & 4. Short stay parking is one of the most convenient options at Perth Airport, offering bays right outside either terminal for a quick arrival and departure. The car park is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and primarily frequented by those picking-up or dropping-off passengers in T3 & T4. Rates are initially charged in five, ten, and fifteen minute increments, up to one hour, before being charged hourly for stays of up to eight hours. After the eight-hour point, drivers are charged per day.
The Short-Term Terminal 3/4 Car Park is located in the Perth Airport T3/T4 Precinct, and accessible from the Dunreath Drive interchange for traffic travelling eastbound, and Fauntleroy Avenue for vehicles travelling westbound.
You do not have to book in advance to park at the Short-Term Car Park at Terminal 1. You can find a car space on the day of your departure at Perth Airport. Stays at the Short-Term Car Park at Terminal 1 are initially charged in short five, ten, and fifteen minute blocks, and then by the hour, after the first 60 minutes. After eight hours, travellers are charged the full day rate, and then billed daily from this point onwards. For stays above eight hours you can book your parking online, however you may wish to consider long term parking at this point.
If you have not made an online reservation, but driven up on the day, you simply take a ticket at the entrance so that the barrier rises and allows you entry into the parking lot. On your return, you will need to enter your ticket into the machine at the pay station, pay for your stay, and then exit the car park.
If you have made an online booking, there are cameras at the car park that will scan your number plate and match it to your online booking. Your parking ticket will be automatically issued at the barrier. You will need to keep hold of the ticket to exit the car park upon your return. If the cameras do not recognise your license plate number, a ticket won’t be issued. In this case, you can scan the QR code on your booking confirmation email. You cannot reserve a particular spot at the T2 Short-Term Car Park, but you can instead park in any available bay.
If you have driven up to the car park and taken a ticket on entry, you will need to head to the pay station and press the ‘help’ button. You will then be asked to provide your license plate number, so that the staff on-site will be able to reissue the ticket. If you booked online, you will need to follow the same steps, but instead supply your online booking reference number.
