Car Park R is one of the most expensive car parks at Auckland Airport. It was designed for short term stays for travellers who don't mind paying steeper prices for the luxury of being a 1-minute walk to the terminals and having their car stored in a covered car park. Prices start at $11.00 for 10 minutes and increase to $16.00 for 1 hour, $56.00 for 1 day, $149.00 for 3 days, $223.00 for 5 days, $334.00 for 1 week, and $593.00 for 2 weeks, or 15 days. Each day thereafter will cost $37.00 per day.

You can book Auckland Airport car park R both online and in person. When checking out on the official Auckland Airport website, only American Express, Diner Club, Visa, or Mastercard is accepted. Online bookings can be made up to 6 months prior and 4 hours before your scheduled arrival time.
To park on the day of your flight, drive up to Auckland Airport Car Park R, take a ticket at the entry barrier, and pay upon your return.
Please note: Only chipped debit & credit cards are accepted at the car park’s entrance barrier. Non-chipped Diner Club or American Expresses won’t be accepted.
To cancel and receive a refund for your booking, you may do so via the ‘Manage my Booking’ tab on Auckland Airport’s website. To qualify for a refund, cancel your booking 24 hours before your arrival time at Car Park R Auckland Airport.
Entering Car Park R Auckland Airport is as simple as can be! Upon arriving at the entry gate, tap the credit card you booked your spot with online. If you didn’t make a reservation online, take a ticket at the entry barrier.
Exit Auckland Airport car park R by driving up to the exit barrier and tapping the same credit or debit card used to enter, to exit. To pay for your parking ticket received upon entry, head to the payment stations outside the international terminal & Car Park D before heading back to your car.
