Car Park D is designed for international travellers who are looking to park their vehicle on airport grounds. While a bit of a walk from the international terminal (7-10 minutes), it does offer travellers the choice of covered or uncovered parking. To book Auckland Airport Car park D online, head to the Auckland Airport’s official website and pay with an American Express, a Diner Club card, a Visa, or a Mastercard. To book your spot in person, drive to the car park and take a ticket upon entry.
You can book your spot up to 6 months prior and 24 hours in advance for short term car parks, such as car park D.
*Please note: The car park’s entrance barrier will only read & accept chipped debit & credit cards. Non-chipped Diner Club or American Expresses won’t be accepted. If you need to change your nominated credit or debit card after making the initial booking, you can do so through the ‘Manage my Booking’ tab on the official Auckland Airport website.
If you wish to cancel your booking, be sure to do so no less than 24 hours before your reservation’s arrival time. You may cancel your booking via the ‘Manage my Booking’ tab on Auckland Airport’s official website.
To enter the car park, drive up to the car park’s entry barrier and tap or insert the credit card that you booked your reservation with online. If you didn’t book your reservation online, drive up to the entry barrier and press the button for a ticket, you can pay upon return. Be sure to keep your ticket in a safe place.
Exit Auckland Airport car park D Auckland Airport by driving up to the exit barrier and tapping the same credit or debit card used to enter. Didn’t book your reservation online? Take your ticket to one of the payment terminals outside the international terminal or Car Park D and pay for your ticket before heading to the car park and getting in your car to go home.

Take State Hwy 16 in Grafton from Wellesley St E & Wellesley St Bridge (4 mins)
Continue on State Hwy 16, then merge onto State Hwy 20 towards George Bolt Memorial Drive in Mangere
Continue on George Bolt Memorial Drive until you see signs for Auckland Airport, follow them towards the international terminal.
